Friday the Fifth

Low rolled the tide on that friday night. It was the fifth of June.
We drank some pints of beer to a band playing here and we all sang their tune.
It went,

"HEY HEY it´s okay! The water sparkles in the bay!
The sun burns on my back in the morning!
OW OW! Alright now! I´m going out to melk the cow!
It´s just a bloody secret how this work shall e´er be done!"

Then Robert the Scott appeared on the spot. He cried, "Aye ye bastards! Yell!
If the sober go to heaven - that´s what they try to tell - we´ll meet again in hell!"

"HEY HEY it´s okay! The water sparkles in the bay!
The sun burns on my back in the morning!
OW OW! Alright now! I´m going out to melk the cow!
It´s just a bloody secret how this work shall e´er be done!"

We drank some more and crawled to the shore while Robert stayed back in town.
He kicked some windows out, did vomit, got thrown out, but the bugger came back ´round!
And he sang,

"HEY HEY it´s okay! The water sparkles in the bay!
The sun burns on my back in the morning!
OW OW! Alright now! I´m going out to melk the cow!
It´s just a bloody secret how this work shall e´er be done!"

Low rolled the tide on that friday night. It was the fifth of june.
Slainté all ye drunkards! Hear last order´s call, "Laugh, sing, dance and FOLK ALL!"

"HEY HEY it´s okay! The water sparkles in the bay!
The sun burns on my back in the morning!
OW OW! Alright now! I´m going out to melk the cow!
It´s just a bloody secret how this work shall e´er be done!"
